Open Atelier ART Classes in Knaresborough

The Open Atelier ART Classes are held at Hopewell Studios, a beautiful location on the outskrits of Knaresborough, where we will be working in one of the purpose build studios. The grounds including a forest, offers the opportunity to do some fabulous Plein Air painting. So when the weather allows, we can be outside!

Weekly sessions on Wednesdays, suitable for all levels

Fullday [10-4] £45   

Morning [10-12.30] £30   

Afternoon [1.30-4] £30

The Open Atelier Art Classes offer a flexible and stimulating way to develop your artistic skills in a friendly and supportive environment. Each week is structured around a set topic which will be emailed to you in advance of the session so you can arrive at the class full of inspiration
and with the appropriate materials. Topics include Life Drawing, Abstraction, Portraiture, Flow State (mindful drawing), Plein Air and lots of others (see timetable >>>).

Guided, focussed, flexible

The Full Day Class spends the morning working on techniques and exercises relevant to that week’s topic, whilst the afternoon provides an opportunity for a longer free dive into the subject, with time to spend on a single painting under the guidance of CM Robertina.

If a full day doesn’t work, you can come along for just the morning or afternoon session and there is no need to commit to a certain number of classes - just book your place for the
weeks you plan to attend as numbers will be limited. Even better, with your Atelier Loyalty card, every 10 classes entitles you to a free session! Tea and coffee will be available and if you come for a full day, you will need to bring a packed lunch.
